You will be expected to administer the company, deal with users and client's etc, and liaise with the accountant for book keeping etc. We will rely heavily on your range of communication skills - email, web content, telephone and face-to-face contact. Some work will involve administering affiliate marketing schemes ( as merchant or affiliate ), but this is partly automated, and is becoming more so.
It is hoped that the role will expand as you gain confidence and experience. You may become responsible for content management to keep the web sites prices / rates / offers up to date and with genuinely helpful user friendly English explanations and help.

This is a great job if you are an all rounder with administrative experience, seeking a more involving and challenging use of your excellent communication skills. It is hoped that the job will grow with you and the role will expand into dealing with marketing and media. You will also be expected to liaise with our web site designer for content management to keep the web sites prices / rates / offers up to date and with genuinely helpful user friendly English explanations and help. Some work will involve administering affiliate marketing schemes ( as merchant or affiliate ), but this is partly automated, and is becoming more so. It is hoped that this job will evolve with you into something bigger and better, as you demonstrate your ability to initiate and maintain marketing and PR campaigns and be the company's front line with users and businesses.

Experience or knowledge of most of the following is a very big bonus - cj, tradedoubler, ukaffiliates, espotting, overture, dmoz, slashdot, sourceforge, google, ppc, cpa, nature of the problem of getting clicks, nature of the problem of turning clicks into money, merchants, affiliates, affiliate marketing, dreamweaver, html, paypal, yell, etc etc ...An ability to use dreamweaver, ftp, telnet, etc a big advantage.

Must be able to commute to central London several days a week.

Must have Perl / Linux and some SQL / database skills ( plus all the
rest... ).

Cutting edge projects, learn about real web programming with the pros
in a commercial Linux environment, definitely NOT simple cgi database
work. Hard core technical working environment.

Would ideally suit CS graduate who is not yet ready for f/t career
commitment.

£12 per hour (initially).

Might lead to more work and higher rates if u can cut it.

Senior perl programmer/ software engineer / technical director / sysadmin

Senior programmer in a Perl / Linux environment, to bring a special project from inception to launch and then beyond, with all the responsibilities that implies - design, engineering, project management etc. Also some sysadmin etc work.

Must have good Perl / Linux and good SQL / database skills ( plus all the rest... ).

Successful candidate will have a good technical background ( CS/CEng desirable ) and strong problem solving skills.

4 years + relevant experience.

30 K per annum with frequent performance based reviews.

Working in central London.
